This circuit is suggested by Texas Instruments and uses two transistors to excite a 90 Q relay. The relay is activated when the light that falls on the photo sensor is interrupted. The relay is 9 V, but the circuit can be changed to operate with other voltages. Note that the lamp operates with a lower brightness than normal, as it is powered with only 9 V.
