The previous circuit (CB15629E) can be changed to generate a sawtooth signal synchronized externally. This is done with one of the configurations shown in the figure. One produces a positive ramp and the other a negative ramp. To obtain a positive ramp, R1 must be equal to 10R2, and to obtain a positive ramp, R2 must be equal to 10R1. The value of the growth rate limited to 0.5 V / us, should be considered in the applications in which this circuit will be used to synchronize signals in a kinescope or TRC to avoid the appearance of the retraction.
