This traditional two-tone alarm configuration with the 4011 integrated circuit was found in a 1998 documentation, but it is perfectly up to date. The transistor itself can be exchanged for an equivalent such as BD135 or TIP31. The circuit can be powered by voltages from 6 to 12 V.
