This digital pulse counter offers an LED indication. Its maximum frequency is of the order of 5 MHz and the input signal must be rectangular, free from bouncing, and the supply can be made with voltages from 5 to 12 V. The circuit is from an old documentation, but totally current, and can be used including as a shield counter for microcontrollers.
