This simple night light circuit for incandescent lamps was found in documentation from the 90s. However, all the components used are common today. The diodes can be 1N4004 for 110 V and 1N4007 for 220 V or as indicated in the diagram. The LDR is of the common type and should be pointed upwards to receive ambient light and not from the controlled lamp.
