We found this electronic canary circuit in a 1991 documentation. The circuit has an effect program that makes its singing non-repetitive, like most circuits of this type. The supply is made by a voltage of 9 V, but the circuit can be controlled by a microcontroller acting as a shield if the supply is made with 5 V. Use pin 14 of 4017 eliminating the oscillator with 4001.
