This circuit is from a 1991 publication. It divides the frequency of a TTL signal applied to its input by 2.5. The waveforms of the signals are given at the bottom of the figure. The maximum frequency of a few tens of megahertz depends on the TTL family used, and the value of C1 should eventually be changed. The supply must be made with 5 V. Note that the output signal does not have a 50% active cycle.
